About Plymouth Green Team

In the Beginning...

In the spring of 2007, some Plymouth people attended a meeting describing a program called Cool Congregations. An organization called Iowa Interfaith Power & Light Education Working Group conducts "Cool Congregations" workshops around the state. Participants learn how to organize a stewardship program in their own congregation where participants can pledge energy efficiency, save money and prevent global warming pollution. The call went out for Plymouth members to form our own Cool Congregations program.
